Brussels Airlines VA is a fictive, simulation-based virtual airline. It is not a real airline and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Brussels Airlines in any way.

Introduction
- Founded in January 2015 by Joeri Luckermans.
- A virtual airline that was based on the foundations of SN Virtual Airlines Group.
- The SN Virtual Airlines Group (SVAGroup) was founded on July 1st, 2001, shortly after Sabena went bankrupt and the original Sabena VA needed to transition to the newly formed national airline "SN Brussels Airlines".
- The concept was simple: recreate flights of Sabena and SN Brussels Airlines in the virtual world.
- After 13 years, it was time for a change!
- The original staff had left to pursue other challenges, and Joeri created what is now Brussels Airlines VA.
- Five years after first getting involved, one of Sabena VA's original founders, Tim Verbesselt, came back to help out the newly formed VA team. Now, he’s moving on, and we just want to give him a big thank-you for all his support and effort!
History
Sabena VA 1997-2001
Sabena Virtual Airlines, honoring Belgium's iconic Sabena Airlines, operated until 2001 when the real Sabena went bankrupt.
SN Virtual Airlines Group 2001-2015
The original team pursued other challenges, and Joeri created what is now Brussels Airlines VA.
Brussels Airlines VA 2015-Current
In 2015, Brussels Airlines VA separated from the SN Airlines Group. This move allowed Brussels Airlines VA to continue its operations independently, focusing on delivering exceptional virtual aviation experiences.
